Virtual Vehicle Research Center

The objective of this role is to operate and develop the existing IT services to provide the best IT experience for our researchers.

We are currently looking for a

System Administrator (f/m/d)

Graz, Part-time employee, 20h/week

Your Tasks

  • Configuration, operation, maintenance and further development of the assigned IT services.

  • Automation and optimisation of administration tasks.

  • Independent planning and realisation of IT projects.

Your Profile

  • Education and several years of experience with a focus on IT or ongoing studies in the field of computer science, software development or similar.

  • Experience in larger heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux, Cloud).

  • Know-how in dealing with (self-hosted) Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Know-how in dealing with Linux server operating systems.

  • Know-how in the area of Azure and Office 365 is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

  • Friendly and service-orientated way of working.

  • Very good German and English skills.

The minimum annual salary, depending on qualification and classification, is EUR 44,450 gross (fulltime). An overpayment is possible and depends on qualification and the present special experience.
